From Poole we join Dorset Cruises for part of their Jurassic Coast Cruise before arriving on Brownsea Island. It was in 1907 that Robert Baden-Powell held the first ever Scout-Camp on Brownsea. From this humble beginning developed the worldwide scout and guide movement. The island is very beautiful and peaceful and is cared for by the National Trust. There are spectacular views of Poole Harbour and the Isle of Purbeck. The island is home to a variety of wildlife, including rare red squirrels and birds. There is a café near the landing quay, or bring a picnic.
Price includes cruise and entrance to Brownsea Island.
Reduction for National Trust members.
