Eastbourne is consistently one of Roadmark's most popular destinations for a day out. There is still an air of elegance about Eastbourne - its gracious buildings, avenues and hotels owe their creation to the 7th Duke of Devonshire who designed the resort in 1834. The long esplanade overlooks colourful gardens and there are plenty of places to sit and relax. Stroll on the Pier, take a bus up to Beachy Head, or visit the town centre shops - the choice is yours.
