While the most celebrated garden in Normandy is undoubtedly at Claude Monet’s home Giverny, it is only one of many beautiful gardens to be found in this attractive part of northern France. From our hotel near Rouen we will be exploring five gardens ranging in size from the impressive ‘Champ de Bataille’ to smaller private gardens such as ‘Les Jardins Angelique’. We will also visit Rouen, the city where Joan of Arc was famously burned at the stake. Your Holiday Hotel You will stay for four nights at the BEST WESTERN HOTEL LA BERTELIERE. This is a 3-star hotel situated in Saint-Martin-du-Vivier, close to Rouen. Set in peaceful gardens, the hotel has 44 ensuite guest rooms, restaurant, lounge, terrace and piano bar. There is no lift, but the hotel has plenty of ground floor rooms (please request when booking). Admission charges to all the gardens are included in the holiday price.
