EXTRA-VALUE PRE-CHRISTMAS BREAK TO BOURNEMOUTH

DAY 1 (Monday)
Taxi from your home to the coach. We will travel to Dorset through the New Forest with a lunchtime stop in Ringwood. Enjoy tea and biscuits on arrival at the Hotel before settling into your room. There will be entertainment each evening after dinner.
DAY 2 (Tuesday)
After breakfast board the coach for an excursion that takes us through Bournemouth's leafy chines to Sandbanks, home to the rich and famous. The Sandbanks and Canford Cliffs coastline area has been dubbed 'Britain's Palm Beach' and we will pass some seriously expensive beachside properties. We will take the chain ferry to hop across the mouth of Poole Harbour and then drive to the Victorian resort of Swanage where there will be time to find lunch. In the afternoon we return through Corfe Castle and Wareham. Back at the Hotel enjoy tea and cake. Later a traditional Christmas Dinner will be served, followed by entertainment and dancing.
B, DDAY 3 (Wednresday)
A free day in which to relax and unwind at the Hotel, enjoy a stroll into Town or through some of the attractive gardens for which Bournemouth is well known. There is a bus stop close to the Hotel with a regular service to the Town Centre or Poole. We include a Dorset Cream Tea in the Hotel this afternoon, and dinner is followed by music and dancing to see in the 'New Year.'
DAY 4 (Thursday)
We travel to nearby Poole to visit the Royal National Lifeboat Institution College and take a guided tour to find out how RNLI crew and lifeguards are trained. We will be introduced to the training college and its marvellous facilities that include a Sea Survival Centre. The RNLI shop sells a range of gifts and souvenirs. We make our way back to the Hotel for tea and biscuits. For our final evening we have Chef's Special Dinner, and the evening ends with a Grand End of Year Quiz.
DAY 5 (Friday)
This morning we take a short drive to Wimborne. Spend some time exploring the historic town with its gracious Minster Church, or pay a visit to the famous Market, one of the largest open and covered markets in the South of England. During the afternoon we will make our way home to Sussex where taxis will be waiting.
