Established over 50 years ago, Colchester Zoo is home to over 200 species of animals set in 60 acres of beautiful parkland and lakes. The animal’s habitats are presented in number of original themed zones, including the Rajang Forest, home to the orangutans, and the Kingdom of the World, home to white rhino, giraffes and zebra. There are a number of catering venues offering light snacks or full meals. If you prefer to spend the day in Colchester, the oldest recorded town in Britain, the coach will drop you off in the town centre where you will find a selection of shops, museums and art galleries.
