You will be transported back in time when you arrive in Chatham as the Historic Dockyard hosts this Salute to the 1940s, with authentic Home Front and Military Displays and the evacuation theme. Around every corner period vehicles, evacuees and hundreds of people dressed in their best 1940’s attire create a truly vintage atmosphere. With dance troops and the best of 1940’s entertainers, you will be tapping your feet along to your classic favourites all day. ‘Rations’ are available in one of the many themed eateries.
