The Bank of England Museum

The Bank of England Museum

The Bank of England Museum

We travel, first of all, to The Museum of London, which tells the fascinating story of the city from Roman times to the present day. There will be time to explore the museum and find lunch in the area. After lunch we travel the short distance to visit The Bank of England Museum which tells the story of the Bank’s origins in 1694 via nationalisation in 1946 through to its present role as the UK’s central bank. The Museum of London has two cafes, both of which provide options for light lunches. Alternatively, there are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants within a short distance.
