We are privileged to be able to hire an immaculate 1960s coach from the well respected operator of classic Southdown Vehicles, Southcoast Motor Services. Southdown buses, in their smart green and cream livery, were a familiar sight on the roads of Sussex and Hampshire. The Companys comfortable coaches, with air suspension and panoramic windows, were used on touring holidays throughout Britain and Europe. This holiday takes you to the Derbyshire Peak District, where the National Park is dotted with ancient stone villages, rugged moorland, lakes and reservoirs.
Please note that the classic coach used on this tour will have high entrance steps. there is no toilet onboard. For this reason, and due to the nature of some of the visits, the holiday is unsuitable for anyone with walking or mobility problems.
