A visit to the annual Christmas Show at Thursford in Norfolk is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and start the festive season in style. The largest production of its kind in the UK, it features traditional and contemporary music, carol singing, dazzling dancers, lavish costumes, and a cast of over 100. Theatre organist Phil Kelsall will treat you to an incredible virtuoso performance at the keyboard of Thursfords mighty Wurlitzer organ.
Your Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 Taxi pick-up from your home. Lunchtime stop in the historic town of Bury St Edmunds before continuing to the hotel for a two-night stay.
Day 2 We drive through the North Norfolk countryside to Thursford, arriving in time for some Christmas shopping and a snack before the afternoon performance. The theatre will be beautifully decorated, and the magic begins at two oclock.
Day 3 After a leisurely breakfast we will set off for home. Todays lunch stop will be in Colchester. It was Britains first city and has a wide selection of shops and eateries. Later this afternoon we will meet the waiting taxis.
