We will drive through Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds to the hilltop town of Stow-on-the-Wold where there will be a stop for lunch. This afternoon we continue through pretty Cotswolds villages, arriving at Studley Castle in good time for relaxation and a swim in the pool before dinner.
TUESDAY
We will be joined on the coach by a Blue Badge Guide for a tour entitled 'The Cream of the Cotswolds'. The Cotswolds is the largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England, and has a fascinating history shaped by the wool industry and evident in striking churches and manor houses built by wealthy textile merchants. Our route will include villages like Broadway, Moreton-in-Marsh, and Chipping Campden with its elegant terraced High Street and cottages of honey-coloured stone.
WEDNESDAY
Today we will visit Droitwich Spa. It is a town of great charm and lies beside the little River Salwarpe. Droitwich is famous for its natural brine springs that come from underground beds of rock salt 200 feet below ground. The town's baths were popular with the Victorians. There small shops and tearooms, and an excellent Heritage Centre. The most famous native of the town was St. Richard, born here in 1197 and who rose to become Archbishop of Chichester.

This morning we will take you to one of Warwickshire's newest attractions. At the Shakespeare Distillery we will take a fun and informative tour to discover how gin is made and learn about its history. There will be a tasting of three spirits, finishing with a gin and tonic. We will spend the rest of the day in nearby Stratford-on-Avon where there will be time for lunch and shopping, a stroll along the riverbank, or to pay a visit to one of the Shakespeare properties.

Please note that Studley Castle is a large hotel with around 200 bedrooms, so it may be a few minutes walk from your room to the restaurant and other facilities. Studley does not offer the same daytime activities that you find at other Warner hotels but still provides the usual fabulous evening entertainment. For more details visit
